Undo for your whole project.
Build with Claude Code or OpenCode and one bad answer can wipe out yesterday's work. Library Mode keeps every version, brings any of them back in one click, and gives you a page to show what you made. For people who build with AI and would rather not learn git.
Free for one project, with a public page to share it. Paid plans from $3 a month — see what you get.
Why you need this
If you build things with Claude Code or OpenCode, your project lives in one folder on one computer. One wrong answer from the AI, one "clean this up" that goes too far, one spilled coffee — and the version that worked yesterday is gone. Developers protect themselves with tools built for developers. Library Mode does the same job, without asking you to learn any of it.
"Doesn't Claude Code already do this?"
Easy to share
Every project gets its own page on librarymo.de. It starts private — only you can see it. When you're ready, click Share it publicly and send the link to anyone. They don't need an account, a login, or any software.
Browse what others have shared on the Explore page.
- 01They can read about it. The page shows your project's description and its files, so a friend, a client or a hiring manager can see what you made and how it's put together.
- 02They can download it. One click gives them the whole project as a zip file, ready to open on their own computer.
- 03They can build on it. Anyone with a Library Mode account can click Make my own copy and get their own version to change — history included — without touching yours.
- 04You stay in control. Click Make it private any time and the link stops working. Your saved versions are never affected.

- ⚡The shortcut: let your AI do the rest.Already using Claude Code or OpenCode? Copy this prompt, paste it there, and it does steps 2–5 for you — you just click Allow when the browser opens.
Set up Library Mode (librarymo.de) on this computer, step by step: 1. Check whether the `uv` command exists. If not, install it (Mac: curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh — on Windows use the PowerShell installer from astral.sh/uv). If uv can't be installed, fall back to pipx. 2. Run: uv tool install librarymode 3. Run: librarymode connect — my browser will open a page where I click Allow. Wait for it to finish and confirm the connection worked. 4. Then save this folder's project to Library Mode with the note "first save", and tell me the link to its page. If any step fails, explain what happened in plain language and how to fix it.
Prefer to do it by hand, or don't have an AI tool yet? Follow the steps below. - 2Open the command window. This is a plain window where you paste instructions for your computer.Keep it open — you'll paste the next three lines into it, one at a time. Wait until the text stops scrolling and the cursor is blinking again before pasting the next line.On a Mac: press ⌘ Command+Space, type Terminal, press Return. A small window with a blinking cursor opens. On Windows: click the Start button, type PowerShell, press Enter. A blue window with a blinking cursor opens.

- 4Install Library Mode.Paste this line and press Return / Enter:

Mac: a box may pop up offering to install command line developer tools. Click Install, wait for it to finish, then paste the line again.Windows: one extra helper is needed. Go to gitforwindows.org, click Download, open the downloaded file and click Next on every screen. Then close the blue window and open a new one (step 2). - 5Connect your computer to your account.Paste this line and press Return / Enter:
librarymode connect
Your web browser opens a page from us. Click Allow. Library Mode also adds itself to Claude Code and OpenCode for you, if they're installed. You only ever do this once per computer. - 6Save your first version.Open your project in Claude Code or OpenCode and say: "save this project to Library Mode". That's the whole habit — say it again whenever something works.
Then, whenever you need it: "go back to version 3", "what changed since yesterday?", or "share this project". Stuck on any step? Ask us — it usually takes two minutes. The Help page has more.
