# App Store listing — Poker Tutor Cash 1.0
Everything App Store Connect asks for, in the order it asks. Copy each block straight in.
Character limits are Apple's and are counted here. The tournament app's listing is `listing.md`;
this is its cash sibling, built from the same code (`docs/SPLIT-PLAN.md`).
Drafted 2026-09-12. Where this and App Store Connect disagree, App Store Connect is what
shipped — bring this file back in line rather than trusting it.

## Description (4000)
```
Poker Tutor Cash is a coach for cash-game hold'em. You choose the table: the stakes, and whether the game is fixed-limit, pot-limit or no-limit. You sit down with a hundred big blinds, your stack carries from hand to hand the way it does in a real game, and when you leave you cash out with a result — what you won or lost, in big blinds and per hundred hands.
You play against eight opponents whose difficulty rises as you improve. After a hand where something went wrong, the coach tells you which decision cost money and what it would have done instead. After a hand you played well, it says nothing at all — stopping somebody to tell them they did nothing wrong costs attention and teaches nothing.
The advice is cash-game advice. With a hundred big blinds behind, the question is rarely whether to put your stack in; it is what the money behind is worth. The coach prices a call to hit a set or a draw against what is left to win, not the pot alone. It notices when a stack goes in with one pair. In a fixed-limit game it judges the things that matter there — whether the price paid you to draw, whether you raised for value or for the free card, whether you called down or folded the river — because a game where every bet is the same size is a different game, and it is coached as one.
Over a few hundred hands it works out which mistakes are habits rather than accidents, ranks them by what each one is costing you, and turns any of them into a focused set of hands that puts you in that exact situation until you stop getting it wrong. Then it checks back days later to see whether the fix held.
WHAT YOU GET
• Nine-handed cash tables at 25/50, 50/100, 100/200 or 500/1000, in fixed-limit, pot-limit or no-limit
• A hundred big blinds to sit down with, a buy-back when you bust, and a cash-out result when you leave
• A ladder of stakes: a measured win rate at the table you are on is what moves you up
• A coach that reviews the hands worth reviewing and stays out of the way on the rest
• A scorecard of your habits, ranked by what each is costing you per hundred hands
• Practice sets built from your own mistakes, and a check days later to see whether the fix held
• A forty-hand assessment that adapts as it goes
• Every hand you have played, replayable street by street
• Your real numbers — how often you play a hand, how often you raise, how you do from each seat, your win rate — over this session or all time
• A short course on the things nobody says out loud: the price a bet is offering you, what the money behind is worth, why a hundred big blinds and one pair do not belong together, how to play a game where every bet is the same size
WHY IT IS DIFFERENT
It stays quiet when it is not sure. The coach will not name a habit until it has watched enough of the same situation to be confident. Every threshold it uses was set by measuring a scripted flawless player against a scripted flawed one, at cash tables, for each limit separately. Where that measurement could not tell the two apart, the app refuses to name the habit at all — it still counts what the decision cost, but it will not accuse you of a pattern it cannot see.
It does not flatter you. Where it cannot work out what a mistake cost, it says the cost is not known rather than printing a zero. Small samples are labelled as small samples. Hands played in a drill are kept out of your real numbers.
It explains itself in English. No ranges, no fold equity, no being told you were "out of position". Every unavoidable poker word is tappable and defined in a sentence. Seats are numbered — the small blind is 1 and the dealer is last — with a diagram.
NOTHING IS WAGERED
There is no real money gambling in Poker Tutor Cash and no way to put any in. The stakes are chips that keep score; nothing is bet, chips cannot be bought, and no chip has any value outside the app. It is a coaching tool that happens to use a poker table.
WHAT IT COSTS
Your first 100 hands are free, the 40-hand assessment included, and they come with something concrete: the coach names your most common habit and opens the drill for it. The rest of your scorecard is there too, blurred, so you can see how much else it found. After that Poker Tutor Cash is a subscription, and that is the only thing there is to buy. Everything you have already played stays yours either way: your hands, your numbers and the coach's write-ups do not go anywhere if you decide not to subscribe.
YOUR HANDS STAY ON YOUR DEVICE
Every hand you play is written to a plain text file on your own device. Nothing is uploaded, there is no account, there are no analytics, and nobody — including us — can see a hand you have played.
## Age rating questionnaire
Same answers as Poker Tutor; the gambling question is the one that matters.
| Question | Answer |
|---|---|
| Simulated gambling | **Yes — frequent/intense.** The whole app is a poker table. |
| Contests | No |
| Real-money gambling | **No** |
| Violence, sexual content, profanity, drugs, horror | No to all |
| Unrestricted web access | No |
| In-app purchases | **Yes** — one auto-renewable subscription (see Price) |
Expect the highest age band. Do not soften the gambling answer to get a lower rating.
## App Privacy questionnaire
**"Data Not Collected"** for every category. Verified against the code on 2026-09-12: the only
network client in the app is StoreKit (`Sources/PokerStore/SubscriptionStore.swift`); there is no
`URLSession`, no analytics, no third-party SDK; hands are written to a file in the app's own
container (`Sources/PokerSession/HistoryStore.swift`) and never leave it. The subscription does
not change the answer: Apple handles the transaction and the app never sees a card number or a
name.
## Export compliance
Answered in the build (`ITSAppUsesNonExemptEncryption = NO` on the `PokerTutorCashPhone`
target), so App Store Connect will not ask on upload. The app uses no encryption.
## Content rights
No third-party content. Cards, chips, table, icon and sounds are all drawn or synthesised in the
repo (`Scripts/make-icon.py --variant cash`, `Scripts/make-sounds.py`).
## Screenshots
`App/screenshots-cash/` — 8 shots at 1320×2868 (iPhone 6.9"), cut unattended by
`Scripts/make-screenshots.sh cash`: the felt at a 50/100 fixed-limit table with the bet written on
the button, Home with the stakes-and-limit panel, Drills, My game, Hands, the ladder of stakes
with a win rate, More, and the coach's review of a no-limit cash hand.
**1.0 ships iPhone-only**, so the 8 shots above are the complete set.
## Review notes (the box Apple's reviewer reads)
```
Poker Tutor Cash is a coaching tool, not a gambling app. Nothing is wagered, chips cannot be
bought or sold, and no chip has any value outside the app. The "stakes" a player picks are
chip amounts that keep score within a hand. There is no way to gamble real money in it.
The only purchase is one auto-renewable subscription, which removes the limit on how many
hands can be played. It buys nothing inside the game itself: no chips, no advantage, no
content a free player cannot see.
There is no login and no account. Launch the app, pick stakes and a limit on the home screen,
and tap "Sit down" to play.
TO REVIEW THE SUBSCRIPTION WITHOUT PLAYING 100 HANDS: open "More" from the bottom bar and tap
"See the price" under "Free hands". Tapping any blurred row on My game opens it too. That is the same screen a player reaches when their free
hands run out.
The app makes no network requests other than to the App Store for the subscription itself.
Hand history is written to a plain text file in the app's own container and never leaves the
device.
The coach deliberately says nothing after a well-played hand and holds its verdict on close
decisions, so a short review session may see no coaching feedback at all. To see the coach
speak, play twenty or so hands, or open "Drills" from the home screen, which puts you straight
into the situation being taught.

## Price (decided 2026-08-09 for Poker Tutor; the same for its cash sibling)
Free to download. 100 free hands, then an **auto-renewable subscription at $9.99/year**.
| Field | Value |
|---|---|
| Subscription group | `Poker Tutor Cash` |
| Reference name | `Poker Tutor Cash Yearly` |
| Product ID | `com.thedigitaladlab.pokertutor.cash.yearly` — **permanent** |
| Duration | 1 year |
| Price | $9.99 |
| Display name (shown to the buyer) | `Poker Tutor Cash` |
| Description (shown to the buyer) | `Unlimited hands, drills and coaching. Renews yearly until cancelled.` |
The two apps are separate purchases: a Poker Tutor subscription does not open Poker Tutor Cash,
and the reverse. `App/PokerTutorCash.storekit` lets the paywall be exercised in the simulator.
## What the code will and will not claim
For anyone rewriting the description: the coach names a habit only where a sweep separated a
scripted player who has it from one who does not. In the cash editions four habits are priced but
never named — `set-mine-no-odds` (no-limit and pot-limit), `limit-missed-value-raise` and
`limit-no-free-card` (fixed-limit), and `bet-sizing` (no-limit and pot-limit, as in the
tournament app). The description above therefore says the app "refuses to name" what it cannot
measure, and does not put a number on how many habits it tracks.
